Meg graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001 and has been coaching the Hawks of Woodward-Granger since 2002. She has just completed her 12th season as head coach for the Hawks and she has been a club coach for Central Iowa Select and Johnston Volleyball Club. She has a background of building successful winning teams.
I am an AFPA certified trainer. My emphasis is on group training, cross training and sports conditioning. I am a former collegiate gymnast. I have spent my life with fitness and health being central in my life. I want to help people any level grow in their personal goals.

Jim was a multi-sport all-state athlete at Starmont High School in Iowa, before becoming two time MVP for the Central College Dutch as a four year starting pitcher. Jim has become the premier youth pitching instructor in the Des Moines metro area, with over 12 years of experience giving both hitting and pitching lessons to young people of all ages. After a successful playing career at Drake University from 1994-96 where B.J. was an All Missouri Valley performer both years, and became the school’s all-time career 3 pt. goals made in 1996, B.J. became a high school head boys basketball coach in Iowa for 12 years from 1999-2011. He found a passion in coaching where at 2 different schools during his tenure each school saw it’s most successful period of basketball in school history. At Clarinda High School from 1999-2003, his teams reached 3 Regional Finals, were 66-31, and never had a team GPA under 3.2. In 2003, B.J. took over at Southeast Polk High School where in the next 8 years the school saw it’s most successful period in school history winning 2 CIML Championships, playing in 6 Regional Finals, 2 State Tournaments culminating in 2010 with the school’s first State Championship appearance. B.J. left in 2011 with 118 wins at the school and his teams never had below a cumulative 3.0 GPA. B.J.’s passion is developing skills and a mindset for basketball. He thrives on teaching kids how to be accountable to something bigger than themselves and the difference between competing and playing hard. After 3 years away from coaching, B.J. is excited to bring his knowledge and experience back to athletes who want to excel and play basketball the right way, as well as working with youth coaches who want to learn how to create the right environment and culture for their teams. John Brummett will be teaching his knowledge and skills to baseball players who want to excel as hitters, catchers, and corner infielders. John is a graduate of Waukee High School where he was an all-state baseball player and still holds many records. John finished college at Pittsburg State University where he was a Division II First Team All-America catcher.
